For this artifact we used Pascal's triangle to find various patterns that could show up in math, nature, and other places. There are a lot of different patterns in Pascal's triangle. For this artifact the skills I used were collaboration and observation. I used collaboration when I communicated with my peers to find the various patterns in Pascal's triangle. I used observation to seek out the many complex and interesting patterns in the triangle. I could use these skills with my family, friends, and coworkers. I can collaborate with my friends, family, and coworkers to perform projects and do activities and tasks that need done. I can always use observation in life, if I am doing homework or going on a bike ride. My strength for this artifact was working together with classmates. I work good in groups to find patterns and complete math problems. My weakness studying Pascal's triangle was making sure I didn't get distracted by so many numbers and concentrating on finding one pattern. How many patterns are there in Pascal's triangle? Is Pascal's triangle found in nature? There are too many patterns in Pascal's triangle to count. There may even be many that have not been discovered. Pascal's triangle shows that there can be many patterns within sets of numbers and even nature, like in a plant's growth. In the human body the cells divide which is Pascal's triangle. http://britton.disted.camosun.bc.ca/pascal/pascal.html
